a few weeks ago, my friend amanda saw a groupon for an introductory flying lesson. we signed up and booked our lesson. although my dad was afraid i was going to die and that made me more reluctant about going, my friends talked me into it. they eased my worries and i'm so glad i went. it was an amazing experience, really fun and not as complicated as i thought it'd be. we were up in the air individually with our instructors for about an hour and you could see for miles all around tons of greenery, farmland, lake scugog, and the 'shwa. i had a super chill old guy as my teacher and i couldn't believe he let me take over the controls. afterwards we went to denny's for breakfast, which is always good.
