lyota yagi

i visited the japan foundation yesterday to check out their current exhibition "winter garden: the exploration of the micropop imagination in contemporary japanese art". the thing that struck me the most was a video by lyota yagi. he had pressed a record of the songs “clair de lune” and “moon river” as well as a song by chopin and another classical dude (can't remember) in ice and played it on a turntable where it played perfectly for a few minutes until it melted.

this video isn't exactly it but it's still neat.
